Job Description 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our team in Nugegoda. As a QA Intern, you will contribute to ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by assisting with testing activities and collaborating with our dynamic development team. 

Responsibilities 

- Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases, test plans, and scripts for web and mobile applications. 

- Perform manual testing to identify bugs and report defects accurately. 

- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand project requirements and provide feedback. 

- Conduct basic functional, usability, and regression testing. 

- Document test results and report issues using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. 

- Learn and apply QA best practices and methodologies. 

 

Requirements 

Education:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Skills:

- Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies. 

- Familiarity with any bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus. 

- Knowledge of manual testing; exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium or Appium) is an advantage. 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. 

- Good communication and teamwork skills. 

- Ability to work onsite in Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.
