Associate Engineer – Power Platform
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to gather and understand their requirements, and design custom applications and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Develop, configure, and customize Power Platform solutions to meet business needs. This may include building canvas apps, model-driven apps, flows, Power Virtual Agent, Power Automate RPA and Power BI dashboards.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft and third-party applications and services, such as SharePoint, Outlook, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and external data sources.
- Design and implement data models, data flows, and data connectors to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Build and optimize business processes through Power Automate, automating routine tasks, and ensuring workflow efficiency.
- Provide technical support, diagnose, and resolve issues, and perform maintenance on existing Power Platform solutions.
- Ensure that Power Platform solutions adhere to security and compliance standards and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, including design specifications, data models, release documents and user guides.
- Train and assist end-users and other team members in using Power Platform applications and features. Share best practices and knowledge with the team.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power Platform applications and workflows.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in developing Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Candidates with the following certifications are a plus,
- Microsoft Certified Power Platform Fundamentals – PL-900
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals – MS-900
- Microsoft Certified Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate – PL-200
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate – PL-100
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate – PL-400
- Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data integration.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and Azure services.
- Knowledge of best practices in security, governance, and compliance within Power Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams on Power Platform projects.
